A CALIFORNIAN SUMMER
A couple of weeks ago, I returned home to Tennessee from an entire summer spent in California. Seriously. I left the day after my finals in May and got back 3 days before my senior year at The University of Tennessee in August. This summer was nothing short of amazing, and I think I left a lot of my heart in California to be honest. Some parts at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego, some on the train into Tijuana, some on the PCH, on the fancy streets of Beverly Hills, on the drive up to Big Sur, in a tent on the beach of Half Moon Bay, in the desert of Joshua Tree, in a hot air balloon over Napa Valley (yeah, that happened), in the in-betweens spent in car rides listening to music so loud it filled your soul.
It's the perfect combination of everything I love: fun day trips to beaches AND mountains, good music, and great food. It also now contains the new residence of my brother and best friend, and a sweet camp called JH Ranch where I spent the majority of my summer. I could write pages and pages about my time there, but for the sake of space (and your time), I'll save it for another day. Here's a few highlights from my Californian summer. Hope you enjoy and hope you get a chance to experience it up close and personal.
